Ever wondered what more you can do to teach someone how to look at Art?
Use the word: SEEK
To seek means that you search for meaning or try to find something.
S: See- What do you see?
E: Evidence- Why do you say that? Describe the evidence that validates that answer.
E: Explain- What decisions did the artist make? How was the work created? What do you know about the composition, techniques, colors, and proportions?
How does that set a tone and send a message? Explain the artist's intentions.
K: Know- What do you know? What else do you want to know?
Extra: What do you think the intent of the Art is/was? What is the audience? What is its appeal/voice?
